In 1998, a traditional English pub with an Indian-Bangladeshi restaurant was a new and intriguing idea. Previously, it seemed that never the twain would meet. Then new owners rebranded the Vic, Jalsa Ghar Restaurant & Queen Victoria free house; the first meaning House of Entertainment in Bengali, a great description endorsed by happy local customers.

The vision of creating an exotic restaurant delivering high quality cuisine, with attention to culinary detail, most successful.
